Benefits of the partnership include the Foundation delivering weekly coaching sessions as well as strengthening player and coach development.
Newcastle United Foundation coaches will deliver a series of coaching sessions throughout the season, including weekly skills centres, Holiday Soccer Schools, and Football Fun Days.
Clubs will also gain access to other exciting opportunities and experiences, such as a signed piece of Newcastle United memorabilia, discounts on stadium tours and match day experiences, as well as the chance for two players to be a match day ball boy/girl at St. James’ Park.
Andy Dobby, Football Development Manager at Newcastle United Foundation, said: “We’re delighted that our Partner Club scheme has been received so well by local clubs. It will allow us to work more closely with local junior teams than ever before and that is really exciting.
“The clubs we are partnering with hold FA charter standard status and share our view of just how vital it is to provide high quality football experiences and opportunities for our region’s young players.”
